　　制造业连续八个月扩张

　　China's economy recovered steadily in October as the latest data showed the continuous expansion of the manufacturing and services sectors.

　　10月新统计数据显示，我国经济稳步恢复，制造业和服务业持续扩张。

　　The country's factory activities stayed in expansionary territory for eight consecutive months, as the purchasing managers index for the manufacturing sector stood at 51.4 in October.

　　国家统计局数据显示，10月份，我国制造业采购经理指数(PMI)为51.4%，已连续8个月处于扩张区间。

　　PMI for the nonmanufacturing sector came in at 56.2, compared with 55.9 in the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

　　非制造业PMI为56.2%，比上月上升0.3个百分点。

　　While the manufacturing PMI was slightly down from 51.5 in September, it was above the market expectations of 51.3.

　　虽然10月制造业PMI较9月的51.5%略有下降，但高于市场51.3%的预期。

　　The services sector also accelerated the pace of recovery, with the subindex for business activities expanding 0.3 points from the previous month, to 55.5, NBS said.

　　国家统计局表示，服务业复苏势头也在加快，10月服务业商务活动指数为55.5%，比上月上升0.3个百分点。
