　　What is the importance of environmental education?

　　Good question! Without the environmental education, humans may have no home anymore in some years. I mean, look at all the wastes that we dump each day. If we have no knowledge about how to deal with them, our planet will be filled with filthy rubbish. Where do humans stand then?Besides, we can make our planet a better and more livable place if we know how to look after it. In a word, environment is the very thing that this planet has to offer to us. So we must learn about it, for the sake of our own well-being.

　　How can people protect the environment?

　　I believe there are lots of ways in which we can protect the environment. Even people say they are too busy or lazy to put up big change, there are lots of simple habits to implement in daily life that can also make a difference and protect the environment. For example, turn off devices when you do not use it; walk or cycle more if the journey is a short one, think of collecting water to use for different purposes, donate clothes, furniture or things you want to get rid of.

　　What is the importance of environmental protection?

　　It is important to protect the environment because we've always seen how man-made disruptions to ecosystems can bring impacts to the entire mankind. Many species, animal, birds and other living being are extinct due to environmental exploitation. Similarly, for people, many disasters and also health problem takes place. All people depend on this ecosystem and environment, and that's why we need to take immediate action to preserve our mother earth before it's too late.

　　Is it important to teach students environmental protection at school?

　　Definitely, it is crucial for our young generation to know the importance of environment and environmental protection. They should be taught the ecosystem and environment, how animals, humans, different species rely on the earth and how man-made disruptions already impact us.

　　Students should realize the importance to protect their planet and learn ways to improve their lifestyle. Teachers can work with parents, to help students from some good habits in everyday life that will make a difference. When they follow some of those tips, students can be proud by participating in the protection of the environment.

　　Do you think it is necessary to make environmental protection as a subject?

　　I agree it is crucial for our young generation to know the importance of environment and environmental protection, however, I don't think it needs to be made into a separate new subject. Actually, the topic of environmental protection is usually covered in Science lesson, the ecosystem, the global warming, ways to protect the earth. This topic is important and maybe it would be better if it can be integrated across different subjects to reinforce the idea in students' minds. Rather than making it a subject, there can be various ways to teach environmental protection.
