　　Some students enjoy decorating their surroundings; other choose to keep their surroundings simple and free of any decorations. Which do you prefer and why?

　　I think that it is a good idea for students to decorate their surroundings for two reasons.

　　The first is that a variety of things to look at can help the student generate new ideas. If the student has a mental block about an assignment, looking at other things can refresh the mind and suggest new topics.

　　The second reason is that decorations can help a student feel less alone. By looking at mementos, the student remembers the people associated with them and can fight off feelings of depression or homesickness.

　　If a student can solve challenges because he or she has good ideas and is not alone, the student will succeed. That is why I think students should decorate their environments.
