　　面试官的问题，有时候充满了玄机

　　见过这么多世面的大仙

　　每次见到面试官都毕恭毕敬

　　因为面试官的一系列问题都没有

　　想象中的那么简单

　　比如，面试官可能问你喜欢

　　work in a team（小组里工作）

　　还是

　　work independently（独立工作）

　　这就在检验你是个好的团队伙伴

　　还是个特立独行的人

　　你有没有发现

　　现在托福口语独立题

　　渐渐也迈出校园

　　问得颇有点面试官口吻

　　咱们以10月19日托福口语题为例

　　如果有两种工作模式摆在你面前

　　Some people like to have independence to do tasks and decide what to do, while others like to be told what they should do directly. Which one do you prefer?

　　有些人喜欢独立去做好一个任务，决定怎么去做；而有些人喜欢直接被告知该怎么去做任务。你喜欢哪种？

　　假设我们选independent way of working，那么给出三种可能的思路：

　　have the say 有话语权

　　I don’t enjoy having someone looking over my shoulder all the time. If I can have the say over how I do my work, I can enjoy much more freedom. But if I have to report to my manager about everything I’m doing, it would shift my focus away from the work itself.

　　我不喜欢有人在背后一直监视我。如果我可以在工作上有话语权，那就可以享受更多的自由。但是如果我要向经理汇报所做的一切，那会把注意力从工作本身上转移开来。

　　have someone looking over one’s shoulder: 受到监督（想象如果李老师告诉你：今晚我看着你做作业哦??哈哈）

　　have the say 有说话权

　　enjoy freedom 享受自由

　　shift focus away from sth. 把注意力从……那转移开

　　find more satisfaction 有更多满足感

　　Related to the first point, if I got to work independently, I can find more satisfaction. For example, I can enjoy the flexibility. Say, instead of working in my office, maybe I could work from a coffeeshop or work later into night.

　　与第一点相关，如果我可以独立工作，就可以获取更多的满足感。比如，我喜欢灵活性。比方说，与其在办公室工作，我还可以从咖啡店工作；或者我也可以工作到深夜。

　　use my creativity 用出我的创意

　　Less supervision means less restrictions. I can spread my wings if I can work alone. As long as I can meet the goal, I can choose whatever creative or even strange ways to get work done. Personally, I like to start slowly, to take long walks going over the details and then start to work. Maybe it will seem idle in the first look, but that’s my way of doing things.

　　更少监管意味着更少的限制。如果我独自工作，我就可以展翅翱翔、发挥长处。只要我能达成目标，我可以用任何有创意的，或者甚至奇怪的方式去把工作给做了。个人来说，我喜欢起步得慢一些，散步很久，思考一些细节，然后再开始工作。或许在别人看来很闲散，但是那是我做事的方式。
