SAT语法你需要关心的主要是几个基本原则：1、句子基本完整性(必须是完整句)；2、一致性(语意与结构)；3、意思本身的精确性(学会把意思读准读出来)；4、依据上面的标准扔错的剩对的。

　　用几个例子来说明：

　　1. Unlike the other major planets, Pluto has a highly eccentric orbit, which is thuscloser to the Sun than Neptune is for 20 years out of every 230

　　year cycle, eventhough it is commonly described as the remotest planet in the solar system.

　　(A) Pluto has a highly eccentric orbit, which is thus closer to the Sun than Neptune is

　　(B) Pluto has a highly eccentric orbit and is thus closer to the Sun than Neptune is

　　(C) Pluto's orbit is highly eccentric and is thus closer to the Sun than Neptune

　　(D) the orbit of Pluto is highly eccentric and thus closer to the Sun than Neptune

　　解答 ：句子开头的“不像其他行星”是个一致性标志，意味着主句主语必须是行星的平行词。据此浏览选项主语，干掉CDE,留下AB。再对比AB,发现内部都有比较，这也是一致性标志，那再看谁更烂，扔掉。A说P有个什么样的轨道，轨道更接近太阳，比N.意思是轨道和N比，已经不一致，干掉。B 没法不对了，否则就没有答案了。要不再看一眼。B说：P有什么样的轨道因此P更接近太阳比N.两行星比，对了。答案还是B.

　　2. Unlike most severance packages, which require workers to stay until the lastday scheduled to collect, workers at the automobile company are eligible for itsseverance package even if they find a new job before they are terminated.

　　句开头的“不像大多数分手费”说明句子主语也该是分手费的类似概念，据此浏览划线内主句主语，干掉ABC,留下DE.DE的区别很小，那就认真读意思：D说，带到最后一天以便拿那笔钱;E说，最后一天是他们准备要收的：拜托，E讲他们不是拿钱，而是拿最后一天！区别出来了没有？选D。

　　3. Having finally reached a tentative labor agreement with its company's pilots, itmust now be determined by the airline's board of directors how the airline can bothincrease profits and compete more effectively for customers than they did in the past.

　　(A) it must now be determined by the airline's board of directors how the airline can bothincrease profits and compete more effectively for customers than they did in the past

　　解答： 用HAVING 开头，按照一致性原则，主句主语 应该是动作发出者：据此干掉前两个。后三个都有BOTH... AND...一致性标志那看谁更一致：C说BOTH HOW....AND COMPETE，错;D没看出错，E bothincrease ....and also how, 错。选D.

　　注意： 实际考试时句子(含划线部分)可能很长，因此将选项逐一读完很费时间，因此建议大家关注一致性的落脚点，据此用长项竖读的方式，快速干掉违反一致性原则的选项。
