郝新宇说：

今天的两个题目出的比较随性，一个是朋友来你们国家的小贴士，一个是校园中建个休息室合适不合适。题目的套路性不明显，但是太贴近生活了，但凡是有日常生活经历和校园生活经历的同学都不会觉得没话可说，所以其实最好的方式就是把自己的想法表达出来就行了，做到我们课上所说的就题论题，回归自然。当然在展开的时候大家可以看到好老师的列举思路的运用。

Task1:

One of your foreign friends is about to visit your country, before the visiting, he or she would like to know some tips, such as what the polite behavior is and what the impolite behavior is in your country, would you please introduce any tips to your friend? Give specific explanations in your response.

Sample response:

One of the polite behaviors in my country is “lady first”. Whatever you do, when there are ladies companying, bear in mind always lady first, such as when ordering dishes in a restaurant, when getting on the bus or subway, when taking the lift in an office building and so on, lady first, then you will be the gentlemen.

And one of the impolite behaviors in my country is asking the age of a lady. Whatever your topic is, sports, fashion, entertainment and so on, if you ask the age of alady, that lady may think you impolite and rude. Respecting the privacy of a lady，then your communication will be friendly.

Task2:

Your university is about to build a lounge in the campus so as to facilitate students’ studying and relaxation. Do you agree or disagree with such an idea? Give your explanations in your response.

Sample response:

Definitely I agree to build such a lounge.

Firstly, the lounge facilitates learning. It is very common to have the group discussion or group assignment for a college student. If having such a lounge, students can have the seats, adequate light and a comfortable place to exchange ideas and discuss their tasks.

Secondly, the lounge is a good place for recreation. After a whole day’s study, in such a lounge, students can see a movie, listen to music, drink some coffee or chat with friends to kill their time. Students may well keep a balance between studying and relaxation, which is beneficial to everyone.

Agree or disagree: students are more interested in politics today than they were in the past.

17年10月的考题有木有？按照Vicky老师要求进行准备的同学们应该能够顺利发挥啦。政治类考题虽然不算热门话题，但还是有一定的考察概率的，并且举例子难度更高，所以还是要提前做好准备。这道题同不同意皆可，例如选择同意立场，也就是学生现在比过去对政治更感兴趣，可以展开如下几个分论点：

第一段：了解政治的途径增多：现代社会，学生可以通过各种媒介了解政治，如各类新闻网站、电视等媒体，甚至有些社交网站如Twitter也成为了传播政治讯息的平台（特朗普推特治国），广泛地接触各类政治知识和信息使得学生想要更多地对政治一探究竟。而在几十年以前的上个世纪，学生只能不定期通过报纸和电台了解政治事件，导致对政治兴趣较低。

第二段：政治教育的加强：现在的学生普遍从中学起就接触政治课程，例如在中国，政治是各高中的必修文科课程。通过系统地学习，学生会对各国的政治事件，如政治体制、外交政策等有更多了解，故相比于过去的学生，现在的学生更容易关心政治。

第三段：现代更加开放的社会环境使得学生对政治产生兴趣：宽松自由的环境使得学生的言论更自由，可以随意谈论政治相关话题（政策的制定等），甚至可以参与政治相关活动（人大代表lawmaker, NPC deputy选举），从而产生兴趣。但是过去比较保守，人们没有这么多的自由谈论和参与政治活动。
