昨天考试的第一题是三选一，三选一这种题作答时有着特定可以选用的答题角度，大家可以从题目和答案中感受；只是今天的三选一的备选内容不一定大家会很熟悉，这也给顺利答题带来了些许挑战。今天的第二题重复了2018年4月21日考试的题目，打断别人是不是礼貌呢？相信大部分同学都认为是不礼貌的，但是关键是怎么论述清楚呢？不知道大家考场上发挥的怎么样。看下好老师的答案然后等着十天的结果吧。

Task1:

Your neighborhood is going to set up a new department so as to better educate citizens, making them know certain knowledge, from your perspective, which of the following department would you prefer to set up?

---fire department

---police department

---parks and recreation department

Sample response:

In my view, I prefer to set up the fire department. The most important reason is I am unfamiliar with many things and might be at a loss about what to do when facing the fire, cause never have I experienced the fire before. Thus, if having such a department, through publicity and activities, then its staffs may introduce many useful skills to save our lives, such as how to avoid things being on fire, how to use the fire extinguisher, how to put out the small fire, how to escape from the burning building and so on. All these are very useful to the safety and well-being.

Task2:

Do you agree or disagree with the statement that interrupting others while others are talking about something in a discussion is impolite and unacceptable?

Sample response:

In my view, it’s impolite to suddenly interrupt others.

For one thing, each one has the right to express his own ideas. Whether right or wrong, whether reasonable or not, people have the right to express their own or listen to others’ opinions. We should respect each other.

For another thing, interrupting others isn’t beneficial for a discussion. For a discussion, usually the first step is to have the brainstorm and then come to an agree mentor a conclusion. If always listening to one person’s idea, without exchanging ideas, what is the meaning for a discussion?

Thus, I think people should have the good manner of listening to others.

今天的写作考题终于可以让大家松一口气了，ETS继续延续重复老题的套路，选择了一道16年末的比较类考题，Vicky老师在前面的文章中做过相关总结，提前做过准备的宝宝们应该会觉得很幸运啦。

这道题如果选择同意，也就是年轻时出国旅行比年老时更好，可以考虑年轻人相比于中老年人有哪些优势（身体和心理），而这些优势又要与出国旅行（长途奔波）相关联。如：

第一段（身体）：年轻人的体力和精力远好于older people, 因而去国外旅行也更能适应，玩得更好。后面举例说明即可，比如自己和父母及爷爷奶奶一同在半个月以内畅游欧洲十国，然后详细展开，描述自己与父母和爷爷奶奶在旅途中的不同表现，着重从身体素质、精力方面展开（适应时差和饮食等）。

第二段（心理）：年轻人心态更开放，而older people更加保守固执一些，故年轻人更容易从旅途中学习并接收新鲜事物，这有可能会为自己的工作带来好处。后面可以拿建筑类、景观设计等专业举例。通过旅行，某人了解到了国外怎样的建筑风格，又是如何有利于自己的工作的等。

以上的每一个段落都同时既论述了年轻人, 也描述了中老年人，但如果同学们愿意再添加让步段的话，也是可以的。

第三段（让步段）：对于older people来说，出国旅游是一种放松减压的方式。Older people日常总被各种琐事所缠绕，他们确实需要放松身心，暂时摆脱恼人的琐事，而恰恰是因为他们事务众多，意味着他们不方便以外出奔波的方式进行放松，而事实上，出国旅行也是十分劳累的。可以选择其他周期短的、更为方便的放松方式，如健身房锻炼，定期与朋友聚会等。
