　　Red-eyed tree frogs live in rainforests. There, the females lay eggs on leaves hanging over ponds. Six or seven days later, the tadpoles inside the eggs will break free. They are all washed down into the ponds below.

　　In the water, the tadpoles feed on tiny insects. They grow into little brown frogs. Eventually, the babies leave the water and climb up nearby trees. Adult red eyed tree frogs are rich in color. They have green bodies with yellow and blue colors. The green color helps the frogs blend in with tree leaves. It makes it easier to hide and they won’t be found easily.
