　　在写作中可以作“给…增加趣味”的意思。

　　If you spice up something that you say or do, you add excitement or interest to it.

　　搭配的时候可以用spice up a story（maybe with sth erotic or violent...）/trip/party/one’s life等，Spice Girls 组合还唱过一首歌，叫做 “spice up your life”。
