appeal to... 讲解：

　　意思比较多，用作动词的话，在写作中常可以作“呼吁、吸引”的意思。

　　If you appeal to someone to do something, you make a serious and urgent request to them.  呼吁

　　If something appeals to you, you find it attractive or interesting. 有吸引力

　　搭配的时候可以用appeal to sb（吸引sb）/appeal to sb to do sth(呼吁）。

　　例句：

　　1. Organizers appealed to the crowd not to panic.

　　组织者呼吁人群不要惊慌。
