结果状语从句
从句的内容作结果状语。主要形式有：
1）so +形容词/副词+ that如此……以至于……
2）such (十a/an) +名词+ that如此……以至于
特别注意：such表达原因，that引出结果，此处如果such跟单数可数名词必须在名词前用冠词a或an, that后必须跟一个完整的句子。
I was so tired that I fell fast asleep at once.
我太累了，以至于立到就睡着了。
You walked so fast that I could not catch up with you.
你走得太快了，以至于我都赶不上你。
left in such a hurry that I forgot to close the window.
我走得太匆忙，以至于忘了关窗户。
2. The men got such a fright that they dropped the bag and ran away.
这两个人吓了一跳，扔下包便逃跑了。
知识点：这是一个典型的“such + a +名词 + that从句”的结构。
3. They had rushed up to her while she was haying a picnic at the edge of a forest with her children and tried to steal her handbag.
当她和孩子们在森林边上野餐时，这两个男人冲到她跟前，企图抢她的手提包。
知识点：句中while引导时间状语从句。注意：while必须用于引导延续性动作的句子，而when/ as则可以用于延续性和非延续性动作的句子。
