从中外交流差异理解雅思阅读题目

      在夸奖自己方面的中外交流差异，大家首先想到的应该就是外国人在表达方面很是直白，好像进入了友好协助互夸群，而中国人则总是比较自谦，俗称老谦虚人了。

　　但是在向对方提建议时，两者就像是来了个两级反转。

　　中国人往往只是想提建议，结果一张嘴就是中二病晚期，让别人瞬间想躲你十万八千里远；而外国人则是说的贼隐晦，根本不知道是在向你提建议还是在“阴阳”你......

　　这就导致了很多同学在雅思阅读解题过程中遇到下面这类题目时，往往会感觉十分困难。

　　乍一看这两个题，一个是判断题，一个是句子填空题，似乎风牛马不相及。

　　但是如果我们仔细观察的话，很快能发现它们之间的共同点，即都在说提建议的事情。

　　第一题相对而言比较好定位，大部分同学能通过题干中的关键词non-mathematical readers定位到下面这一段的第一句。

This book presents the details that illustrate the mathematical style of thinking, which involves sustained, step-by step analysis, experiments, and insights. 　　但是我在教学过程中发现，很多同学到了这里依然无法找到答案句。一些同学会觉得倒数第二句出现了reading a novel，可能对应题目里的reading the book。接下去，就有不少同学表示看不出来作者哪句话在提建议。

　　主要原因是老外不像我们那样提建议。因为他们比较注重个人隐私，重视人与人之间的界限感，所以除非关系特别好，才会直接说：you should…

　　那么一般情况下外国人究竟怎么提建议呢？我们看一下本段最后一句。

　　从中我们可以看出，外国人提建议的基本思路是指出具体怎么做（have a pencil and paper ready to check claims and carry out experiments）能带来好处（may help）。至于对方做不做，那是对方的个人自由，提建议的人并不强求你。

　　这时候我们再去找到题目里空格前perform的同义替换表达carry out，答案experiments就一目了然了。
