雅思口语话题P2：Childhood School
Describe a school you went to in your childhood.

what you learned there
and explain how you felt about it
When I was a child, the school that really sticks in my mind is the one nearest my home that i went to when I was about 7 years old. I think you'd call it a Junior School, in England. Anyway, it was a small school, in a small street not far from the Lama Temple in Beijing. I have fairly good memories of my days in this school, although we had to study really hard and it was quite strict. There were about 30 children in each class. Our main teacher was a very kind, but firm woman who also had a really good sense of humour. We learned to write Chinese characters, do basic mathematics and we learned a bit of painting, drawing, history and tings like this. We also did physical education - some games and fitness activities in the playground. I really have good memories of my days in this school, and I got on quite well with my classmates and teachers. However, the one thing I didn't like was the homework - we had way too much homework and I still resent the education system here a little bit for piling so much homework on us after school time! It was tiring and kind of stressful.
