　　Describe a film you would like to share with your friends.

　　You should say:

　　where you watched it

　　what it was about

　　who you watched it with

　　and explain why you want to share it with friends.

　　I watch a lot of films, actually, but the one I want to share with my friends the most is My Neighbour Totoro, by Miyazaki, the Japanese director. I love this movie. In fact, I've always enjoyed the film - it came out when I was a child and I used to watch it with my father.

　　The film is about a father and his two daughters who move to a countryside house whilst their mother is in a hospital in a nearby town. The two daughters explore their new home, and old rickety house, and the surrounding countryside, fields and woodlands, and go to a local school, while the father, who is a university professor, I think, gets the bus every day into the city to teach. One weekend, the girls find an especially large tree in the woodland and a really large cute and magical animal that they call "Totoro". Totoro is a very kind, sympathetic and special creature and he lives in a sort of different world to ours, a world that only children can see and interact with. I love the films of this director and I find the artwork, the cartoons, amazingly drawn and really high quality. The stories are really touching and always carry a positive message. They are emotional, and they are true-to-life in so many ways, although they have strong elements of fantasy and magic in them.
