　　在三年前的一个夏天，在电子商城里购买了Kindle。当时觉得电子书非常方便，同时可以节省购买纸质 书的钱，所以购买了。现在使用得较少，一是因为还是发觉自己更喜欢阅读纸质书，二是电子书也需要购 买电子书版权，价格也较贵,而学校图书馆免费而种类多。

　　When it comes to such an item, I think nothing is more suitable than my Kindle, a birthday present I bought for myself three years ago, which is now lying in my locker together with my childhood books and high school textbooks. It all started one day during the summer of 2016, with an unintentional glimpse at a shelf in a shopping mall (故事始于我不经意间在商城货架上的一瞥). A line of different Kindles were present in front of me as I passed through the mall, and I was suddenly fascinated by these delicate devices. Thinking that having a Kindle in hand might bring convenience and enable me to read more books online, I convinced myself to(我说服自己) purchase it, although it was a little pricey at the time. I have to say, it did bring me convenience to some extent at the beginning, as I enjoyed reading novels without going to libraries. However, ever since I entered university two years ago, things have changed. In comparison to our school libraries which are rich in the kinds of books and completely free of charge for students, the e-book collection of the Kindle offers only limited access to (使能够做) academic sources and authorized- edition novels. And most importantly, as an avid reader, I have found that reading a real book is somehow more fulfilling and pleasant than simply touching a cold screen on the Kindle. In general, I gave up using my Kindle not because of my reluctance to (不愿做某事) read, but instead my strong interest in reading that prevented me from using it again.
