　　Describe an occasion when you taught someone something new to a younger person You should say:

　　上周末表妹来我家玩，告诉我她将去美国交换学习一学期，于是我决定教她做一道经典中国菜：糖醋排 骨。 她学得很认真，用手机记下来了每一步，特别是酱料的比例，她向我反复确认了好几次。最后在我的 指导下，她做出了一道可口的菜，我感到很有成就感。

　　The last time I got the chance to teach someone was just last weekend, when my cousin came to visit me. She told me that she was going to America for a one-semester exchange program, so I made a decision to teach her a classical Chinese dish: spare ribs in sweet-and-sour sauce （糖醋排骨）. First, we bought some ingredients （原料）, such as the spare ribs （排骨）, together, and then we prepared the sugar, vinegar and cooking wine （料酒）. After the preparations, the cooking process started. Actually, as I wished she could cook for herself, I didn't show her how to do it myself, but instead, I told her the process orally. She paid very close attention and even took notes with her smartphone. The most challenging part of this dish was probably making the sweet-and-sour sauce, so she asked me several times about the proportions of sugar and vinegar to make sure that she did it right. Under my instructions, she made a mouth-watering （令人垂涎的） dish successfully with her careful and rigorous attitude （认真严谨的态度）. She told me cheerfully that if she missed Chinese flavors in America, she could make herself this wonderful dish! A feeling of satisfaction came into my mind when I saw her biting into the ribs with great gusto （津津有味地）.

　　This experience gave me a sense of fulfillment （成就感） indeed. I believe that if I have more opportunities to spend time with her, I will teach her more Chinese dishes.
