1. What kinds of TV shows do people like to watch?
Well for young generation, I think drama series with the theme of romance and comedy top the list, especially those TV series acted by popular stars. Also, talent shows own an ever-increasing audience ratings in recent years. These shows give the chance of debut to selected boys and girls by the way of nationwide pick-up, which heightens the audience's engagement to a great extent. While for old people, they concentrate more on talk shows in the field of finance and education, which are closer to life.
2. Why do people like to watch TV shows?
Well, the answer differs. Some just use TV shows as a time killer, but mostly it is because mental relaxation. People regard watching TV shows as a way of relieving stress and anxiety since it releases them from fast-pace life and daily work for a while. However, at the same time, there also exist star-chasers watching TV to support and get closer to their idols regardless of the show itself.
3. Why do some people watch TV shows online?
On one hand, it saves time. People can watch shows though mobile by making use of those fragmentation time during transportation and waiting instead of the whole period of time since it is always accessible via internet. On the other hand, it is much more flexible to watch shows online.
People can pause whenever they want and reverse to wherever scene, which is hard to fulfill through TV. Accordingly, watching online realizes humanization.
4. What is the difference between the games people play now and those people played in the past? First, the games people play in the past are offline with real items like chess and poker. While most of the newly-released games nowadays are online with virtual images but actual figures. For example, Nintendo brings us the notion of playing games by waving a controller and VR technology brings us an immersive gaming experience. Second, games in the old time normally engage more people to join while modern games are more friendly to single players.
