　　1.What kind of weather do Chinese people like?

　　Well, I guess most Chinese people prefer sunny days because people tend to have a better mood than, let's say, a rainy day. I think it's related to the human visual system. The human visual system is photosensitive and isn't programmed for working and living in a dark environment, like cats do. In addition, people are afraid of darkness, because ancient people were afraid of beasts walking at night. Out of the fear of the world, human beings rely on their eyes more than you think. When your vision is particularly good, you're in a happy mood. I think that's why most Chinese people prefer bright days rather than grey days.

　　2.Why do people do different kinds of sports in different weather?

　　This is because different weather conditions have a great impact on people's sports and fitness, especially for those who like exercising every day. When they encounter special weather, they must choose the right form of exercise to avoid risk of injury or danger. For example, on hazy days, indoor sports are generally chosen; hot weather is suitable for swimming and walking; cold weather is ideal for jogging and winter swimming; snowy days are perfect for various outdoor activities such as skiing and skating, while to avoid windy weather, you can do indoor yoga and martial arts. You can also run outdoors in the rain.

　　3.Does weather have any impact on people's daily activities?

　　Yes, I think it has a great impact on people's daily activities. For example, for students, they may not be able to have PE class or their spring tours could be canceled if it rains heavily outside. For fishermen, they cannot go fishing in the sea if there's a typhoon, as it may break their fishing boats. For travelers and businessmen, their flights may get canceled ifthere's a big storm or heavy snow at their destination, and this would affect their travel plans. All in all, the weather has a huge impact on people's daily life, therefore, accurate weather forecasts are important.

　　Not really. I think it's more a habit of western people, well, maybe mostly British! I've heard that westerners like to talk about the weather because it never offends anyone, and they don't like others to invade their privacy. Here, however, we don't talk about it when we first meet, as long as it's not extreme weather like a tremendous typhoon.
