　　高考结束后，在选择大学专业的时候，朋友建议我选择将来就业工资高的，他认为大学的学习就是为了将来能更好地融入社会，无论我是否喜欢这个专业，我都可以在大学期间为将来进入社会打下一个良好的 基础。这个建议听起来似乎有些过于现实，但我觉得作为年轻人来说，追求好的经济基础是必需的。

　　After graduating from high school, I had to choose my major for university. I was all at sea during that time.（不知所措） Just leaving the high school campus and facing thousands of universities and courses, I was at a loss（陷入迷茫）. One of my friends suggested choosing a major which could help me find a job with a high salary in the future, like law. She listed hundreds of advantages of learning law and becoming a lawyer, like being decent, helping others, and most importantly, earning a lot, though most of which were from TV dramas and fictions, I have to admit. She said that university study is actually about preparing ourselves to find a suitable job after graduation. University study is about having a good knowledge base before moving into employment. Therefore, whether I liked learning law or not, if I learned it at university, I would be skillful enough to become a lawyer in the future. Her advice sounded a little bit ridiculous, but also realistic. In modern society, for most young people, a good economic foundation is necessary. If the salary is of great importance（十分重要）, why not consider it earlier than others? Some people choose jobs with high salaries after graduating from university, so it makes sense that（有意义） I started to consider it as soon as I entered university.
